During the pandemic I resumed a regular meditation practice. I say resumed because I have, at different periods of my life, been a dedicated meditator, only to drop off from a practice and let entropy take over: no time today, I don't feel like it today.
When I take the time to regularly practice meditation (sitting and doing nothing, just breathing for 1/2 hour), I find that everything else during the day has a different quality. I notice this especially in my drawing/painting. Does drawing reduce anxiety or does a quiet mind allow drawing to happen?
