FLORAL PATTERN AND BOTANICAL DESIGN
Explore the beauty of flowers and botanicals as inspiration for artwork filled with color, and pattern. In this class, we will investigate ideas in color theory, composition and pattern design, using nature as subject and creative catalyst.
Through sketchbook work and nature journaling, you will discover new ways to describe and interpret what you see, transforming natural forms into original designs.
The emphasis is on experimentation, creative growth, and developing your own visual language in a supportive environment.
Bring a sketchbook. Other supplies will be provided to enrich your work and encourage creative exploration.
All levels are welcome.

  • Class will be held at my studio at McGuffey Art Center, in the Red Shed. Parking passes will be provided for McGuffey's  visitor lot.

Refund Policy: We understand that sometimes circumstances and you may need to cancel your enrollment in our classes. If you decide to cancel before the classes begin, we will provide you with a full refund minus a $25 service charge. However, if you cancel after the first class, the refund will be reduced by $50. Please note that we cannot provide refunds after the second class has taken place.
